By accessing or using Skopple ("Service"), operated by Skopple ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Skopple is an AI-powered product validation platform that helps entrepreneurs and builders research markets, analyze competitors, and generate strategic build briefs before development begins. The Service uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) and search APIs (SerpApi) to gather and synthesize market intelligence.

Important: Skopple provides market research insights powered by AI. The analyses, scores, and recommendations generated by the Service are informational only and should not be the sole basis for business decisions. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or incomplete analysis. Always verify critical findings independently.

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

Skopple uses a credit-based system. New accounts receive a starter credit balance. Additional credits can be purchased at any time through the app. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor.

• Credits are non-expiring and tied to your account
• Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features (research, specs, briefs, etc.)
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us for refund requests
• We reserve the right to change credit pricing with 30 days' notice

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service beyond normal usage
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, usage caps, or authentication mechanisms
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Skopple and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the ideas and content you input into the Service.

Reports, build briefs, and analyses generated by the Service are provided for your use. You may use generated outputs for your own business purposes. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated outputs specific to your inputs.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skopple and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page, which will permanently remove all your data including projects, analyses, chat history, and account information.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
